APRS

Chatham-Kent

ODC maintains a complete APRS system. It well covers most of Chatham-Kent (and large parts of surrounding 'counties') in some capacity (a very large area)

As well, we are combining efforts to bolster APRS activity in Muskoka

VA3APW-3 location: EN82vk - Chatham | Range: 50km+ and gates extensive traffic to the IS

VE3GUK-2 location: EN82vj - Chatham | Range: 30km+ - RF>IS and IS>RF msg capable - covers Chatham

VE3XII-11 location: EN82to - Wallaceburg | Range: 50km+ - RF>IS and IS>RF msg capable - Wallaceburg and surrounding area

VA3XLT-2 location: EN92cn - this is a fulltime digipeater only.

This area was void of coverage and it now covers a large portion of the 401 hiway and surrounding area.

It's also well filtered and doesn't digipeat garbage or stations from far away.
(By the way, if you're reading this and you have a digi set to RELAY, please change that to WIDE2-2 at least. There is NO NEED for RELAY. Thank you.)

Muskoka

VA3APW-* location: FN04 / FN05 - these (and others) provide great coverage in the Muskoka area and an upgrade is planned.

These gates/digis provide wide coverage in the Bala area and a large swath of hiway 400
